Strathisla Distillery
Welcome to the oldest operating distillery in the Highlands.

There is no better place to experience the age-old craft of whisky making at first hand. Dating from 1786, much of the buildings have changed little, from the old cobbled courtyard to the distinctive double pagodas, making it one of the most picturesque distilleries in Scotland.

Of the many whisky distilleries you will find on your travels in Speyside, none is older or lovelier than Strathisla in the town of Keith. The smooth, flavourful single malt whisky for which Strathisla is famous has been produced here since 1786. There is no better place to see this age-old craft at first hand. Take a guided tour through all the stages in the making of the spirit from the milling of the malted barley to the copper pot stills that are the heart of the distillation process. See how the spirit is matured for long years in oak casks in the security of a bonded warehouse.
