Cafe Angelina

In 1903, the Austrian confectioner Antoine Rumpelmayer established Angelina, named after his daughter-in-law. For over a century, this tearoom has been the reference for Parisian gourmet delicacies. As soon as it opened, Angelina became the meeting-place for the Parisian aristocracy. Proust, Coco Chanel and the major French fashion designers all crossed each others’ paths there. A unique place to enjoy the famous hot chocolate and the incredible Mont Blanc gateau, whose century-old secrets are closely guarded.

In the Angelina tearoom located Rue de Rivoli, the decor, designed by the famous Belle Epoque archictect Edouard-Jean Niermans, combines elegance, charm and refinement.
